On the Chinese platform Lemon8, my posts appeared on Google with
additional information that I never wrote or authorized.
The platform automatically generated the following misleading sentence:
“The Lemon8 username ‘@asadamisuzu’ is also shown.
ASADA Misuzu’s …”
This wording falsely suggests that my real name 浅田美鈴 and my
Lemon8 username are officially connected—even though I have never
provided such information, and none of my posts include my legal name.
This was not created by Google.
It was a false attribution generated by Lemon8 and transmitted as metadata.
Google removed the result immediately when I requested deletion, which clearly
indicates that Lemon8—not Google—produced the misleading information.
Such identity fabrication would be unacceptable on any
U.S.-based community platform.
However, Chinese-linked platforms still demonstrate opaque data handling and
unauthorized “auto-generation” of personal identifiers.
For documentation and accountability,
I will continue to archive these incidents as part of my work as an
AI Misattribution Archivist.
